Santiago Chamorro
Santiago A. Chamorro is an executive with over 30 years of career at General Motors, with experience as an operator (P&L), transformation leader in key markets across Latin America and the United States, and global leader of software/technology businesses.
Throughout his career at GM, he held leadership positions in the region, including CEO of GM Colmotores (Colombia) and CEO of GM Brazil, as well as regional responsibilities in commercial and strategic areas at GM South America.
Prior to taking on regional leadership, Santiago worked in the US (Michigan) as Vice President of Global Connected Services, leading the evolution of connected services and platforms such as OnStar, with a focus on safety, connectivity, and in-vehicle digital experience.
From 2021 to 2026, Santiago served as CEO of GM South America, leading the company's strategy and execution in the region, with a focus on operational efficiency, portfolio management, innovation, and technological transition (including connectivity and new vehicle architectures). He participated alongside global leaders in cultural transformation processes.
